Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Officer

There is no humanitarian response without telecommunications and IT services. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Officers support the host organisations by operating secure and reliable telecommunications and IT systems. These range from supporting the server, client and storage platforms, administering the IT security infrastructure, operating and programming radio systems to setting up and maintaining standard hardware and software in offices. Since ICT Officers also offer first-level support, a high level of service readiness is essential.
